The AlcoScan AL6000 Professional is a handheld alcohol breath tester that uses a special flow-rate controller to allow for two modes of testing: NORMAL MODE testing requires a mouthpiece and a full litre of air to be blown to calculate a result, while FAST MODE testing to quickly test a number of persons in quick succession without using a mouthpiece and without a full litre of air being required. The AL6000 Professional is suitable for both personal use and in small workplaces for random alcohol testing with limited daily to monthly alcohol testing. Annual calibration / Sensor replacement is recommended.
