Description
The Sunsynk Sun 8K Hybrid Inverter + Dongle SEHM12, also known as SKU SUN-8.0 - SW, is a product by Sunsynk that allows for the management of power flow from multiple sources, including solar, the main electrical grid, and a generator. It features a dual MPPT design and is compatible with both Lithium-ion and Lead Acid batteries. The inverter also comes with a mobile app for monitoring, automatic switching between Grid-Tied and Off-Grid modes, and a zero export function. It can be paralleled with up to 16 units with the same firmware and has outputs for both essential and non-essential loads. It is also compatible with the SolarMan App for monitoring and has been tested for compatibility with Pylontech batteries such as the US 3000C, US 2000C, and UP 5000. For installations with the US3000C and UP5000, a specific BMS cable is required. Installations with Sunsynk products now require registration for full activation of the warranty. Before installation, it is important to ensure that the inverter is updated to the latest firmware version, which is currently 6006 E41C.
