Resident Evil 2

The first game in the long-running Resident Evil series raised the bar in the horror genre, and then the sequel took things to a whole new level. Creepy police stations, deserted streets, abandoned schools and some of the scariest creatures made this game something to be afraid of. With the highly-anticipated remake coming in 2019, it couldn’t be a better time to play this Capcom classic.

The Evil Within

Platforms: PC, PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, Xbox One

From the disturbing creatures to the spine-chilling environments and traps, The Evil Within pulls no punches with its horror delivery. Coming from the mind of Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil‘s creator), you know you’re getting some horror pedigree with The Evil Within, and Bethesda’s nightmarish survival horror delivers it in spades!
