At the Huawei event in Munich on Thursday, Huawei unveiled its Watch GT 2, in addition to a batch of new Mate 30 Pro devices.
The Watch GT 2 includes a greater focus on fitness and health-tracking features, with GPS for sports tracking, support for 8 outdoor workouts(running, walking, climbing, hiking, trail running, cycling, open water, triathlon), and 7 different indoor workouts (walking, running, cycling, swimming pool, free training, elliptical machine, rowing machine).
The Watch GT 2 will come in two variations: a 46mm version (similar to the original Watch GT, with a 1.39-inch 454 x 454 AMOLED display) and a 42mm edition (with a more minimalist design and a 1.2-inch 390 x 399 AMOLED screen).
Both version include the Kirin A1 chip, which has a low-power usage allowing the 46mm variant to last up to two weeks, while the 42mm edition will last one week.
