Discover the Kruger National Park

What to do:

  3. Have a hot-air balloon ride. This is a magnificent experience where you can enjoy the splendour of the park as the sun rises over the horizon.
  4. Take a walking safari. There is something thrilling about roaming the Kruger National Park on foot. Don’t worry, you won’t be alone – an experienced guide will be there to ensure you are safe throughout your journey and to show you the best game-viewing sites. Remember to pack comfortable hiking shoes.
  5. Explore the Thulamela Ruins. At this archaeological site you will have the opportunity to gain some insight into early African culture and the way people lived during both the Iron and Stone Age.
  6. blyde riverEnjoy a Blyde Dam boat cruise. Savour the splendour of the Blyde River Canyon by taking a cruise through the third largest canyon in the world. A boat cruise on the dam is a must-do when you visit the greater Kruger area.
  7. Go tubing and river rafting. If you want to get your adrenalin pumping, there’s no better way than to grab your life jacket and brave the rapids of the Olifantsriver.
  8. Kloofing. If tubing and rafting aren’t adventurous enough for you and you’d rather leap over waterfalls, climb cliffs and jump into the waters of the Blyde River Canyon, kloofing is the thing for you! It’s a wild heart-pumping adventure.

Other site attractions include golfing, self-drive, guided and honeymoon safaris, stargazing and birding. Kruger National Park also caters to day and disabled visitors.
