In the upcoming film, Ford v Ferrari, Matt Damon takes on the role of Ford vehicle designer Carroll Shelby with Christian Bale as his British driver Ken Miles as the two join forces to try and unseat Ferrari in the 1966 edition of the Le Mans race, and the first trailer has just been released.

The movie takes place in 1966, and follows Ford’s ambition to really make an impact in the racing world, but there was obviously a lot of hurdles and cynicism when it came to battling it out with the Italian giants of the industry.
Logan‘s James Mangold directs this one, with Jon Bernthal (The Punisher, The Walking Dead), also starring.
