You can now download the PriceCheck Mobile Application, which is a Web Icon type of application, onto to your BlackBerry Smartphone to reside alongside all your other applications, for your convenience! This will open up the PriceCheck Mobile Website directly in your BlackBerry’s Web browser!
The PriceCheck Mobile Application can be installed on all BlackBerry Smartphones using OS versions 4.5 and higher. You can download and install the application using your desktop PC with your BlackBerry Smartphone connected to your PC via USB, Bluetooth etc. and the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software program. To do this, follow the instructions in part A below.
You can download it directly on your phone as well. Go to http://m.pricecheck.co.za/ now, scroll down and it will give you a download link. Follow instructions from there.
The PriceCheck Mobile Application can also be downloaded and directly installed using your BlackBerry Smartphone to open the download link from the mobile browser that you are using to view this Blog. To do this, follow the instructions in part B below.
Part A: Download the PriceCheck Mobile Application using your desktop PC with your BlackBerry Smartphone connected to your PC via USB, Bluetooth etc. and the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software program
NOTE: This application only works on BlackBerry Smartphones running BlackBerry OS versions 4.5 and higher.
- Click here to download the ZIP file. Save it to a familiar folder/location on your PC.
- Go to the folder/location where you saved the ZIP file and extract its contents into the same folder/location.
- Open the BlackBerry Device Manager software on your PC.
- Connect your BlackBerry Smartphone to your PC via USB cable, Bluetooth or other suitable connection.
- In the BlackBerry Device Manager software, click “Application Loader”.
- Click “Start” under “Add / Remove Applications”.
- The software builds a list of applications installed on your BlackBerry Smartphone. You may have to update or install additional modules as well.
- Below the list click “Browse”.
- Find the folder/location where you extracted the contents of the downloaded ZIP file and select the “PriceCheck.alx” file.
- The software does some more checking.
- Click “Next” to continue the installation process.
Part B: Downloading directly onto your BlackBerry Smartphone
NOTE: This application only works on BlackBerry Smartphones running BlackBerry OS versions 4.5 and higher.
- In the mobile browser that you are using to view this Blog click here.
- Follow the steps and accept/trust all prompts, to allow the PriceCheck Mobile Application to be downloaded and installed on your BlackBerry Smartphone.
- When done, the PriceCheck Mobile Application should be installed on your BlackBerry Smartphone and you can find it under “Downloads” on your BlackBerry. From here you may run it or move it to a different folder for your convenience if you wish.
