The Xiaomi Redmi Note series are considered a ore affordable alternative to other costly smartphone and phablet brands. The Redmi Note 3 will be hitting South African shores later this year, and it looks set to be a real contender among South Africa’s budget smartphone market.
And now the Mobile In Africa Group (MIA) recently announced the pricing for Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 for South Africa.
So far only the pricing for the budget version of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has been announced, and the MIA has put it at R3 799, an extremely competitive price for a budget device.
And for that price you’re certainly getting your money’s worth. It will run using the tried-and-tested Qualcomm Snapcomm 650 processor with dual-processors. The display will be on a 5.5-inch full HD screen with the graphics powered by Adreno 510.
There’s also a 16MP rear camera, and a 5MP front. Users can also look forward to 2GD of RAM and 16GB of internal storage space.
No word on exactly when we can expect the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 or Pro to arrive in SA, but it should be before the end of the year.
