In the game, "Remember Me", players take on the role of Nilin, a former elite memory hunter who has been arrested and has her memory wiped clean. After escaping prison, Nilin sets out on a mission to recover her identity and find her friends from her past. The game is set in Neo-Paris, in 2084, and players must use their memory skills to navigate through the city and find clues to her past.

After her escape from prison, Nilin sets out on a mission to recover her identity, helped by her last and only friend. This search for her past leads to her being hunted by the very people that created this surveillance society.
