The APC Smart-ups 3000VA Lcd 230V Interactive Ups is a battery backup unit that is designed to provide temporary power when the utility power is out. The UPS also has an energy meter that provides actual kilowatt hours of usage for energy conscious users. The UPS also has a green mode that bypasses unused electrical components in good power conditions to achieve very high operating efficiency without sacrificing any protection.
