Description
The Eta HAND2MIND Student Molecular Model 100 Atom Set is a hands-on educational tool designed for classroom use. It includes 100 pre-drilled wooden balls in various colors to represent different atoms, as well as flexible connecting bonds to create 3-dimensional compounds. The set also comes with an instruction sheet for proper assembly. This product is part of a larger line of science education products that aim to incorporate math and science principles into classroom activities. It is commonly used by teachers in pre-K, elementary, and secondary classrooms to demonstrate STEM concepts through hands-on experiments and projects. These projects cover a wide range of topics, including engineering, robotics, chemistry, and biology.
The student molecular model set provides hands-on experience constructing 3-dimensional compounds, and is designed for classroom use. Atoms are precision drilled for precise bond angles and the spring bonds fit securely, and are flexible enough for double- and triple-bond arrangements. Set includes 100 pre-drilled, 3/4" diameter, assorted colored wooden balls (atoms): 12-oxygen (red), 5-nitrogen (orange), 30-hydrogen (white), 18-halogen (green), 5-sulfur (yellow), and 30-carbon (black), and 85 flexible connecting bonds (springs) in 3 different sizes- 1"(thirty-five), 1-1/8"(fifteen), and 1-1/2" (thirty-five). An instruction sheet is included on proper way to assemble models. Science education products incorporate applied math and science principles into classroom and homeschool-based projects. Teachers in pre-K, elementary, and secondary classrooms use science education kits and products alongside science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum to demonstrate STEM concepts and real-world applications through hands-on activities. Science education projects include a broad range of activities, such as practical experiments in engineering, aeronautics, robotics, energy, chemistry, physics, biology, and geology.
