It is available in three sizes and comes with either a pebble grate or anthracite coal grate. The unit can be installed in new homes or existing Home Fires Fireplaces and is easy to install. The unit has an automatic flame failure device that cuts off the gas if the flame goes out. There is no ashes or mess to clean up after use. The lighting is at the turn of a knob and the flame height and heat output is adjustable by turning a control knob. The 740 Firebox Vent Free Fireplace is consistent in heat output.
