Description
The Feverscan is a thermometer that is designed to be used by individuals who are experiencing a fever. The thermometer has a single use and is designed to be held against the forehead for 15 seconds. The thermometer will then read the temperature. If the temperature is GREEN, it indicates that the temperature is correct. If the temperature is TAN/RED, it indicates that the temperature is lower than the correct temperature and the user will need to deduct 0.5C (or 0.9F) from the temperature. If the temperature is BLUE, it indicates that the temperature is higher than the correct temperature and the user will need to add 0.5C (or 0.9F) to the temperature. The thermometer should be used at room temperature (22C - 25C or 72F - 77F) and should not be taken if the user has been eating, drinking, or exercising within at least 30 minutes. The thermometer should be cleaned with a soft cloth and stored in its sleeve to keep it away from sunlight and heat.
