Description
This book looks at the relationship between outer space geography and geographic position and how this has evolved over time in order to provide a better understanding of current and future military space strategy. The book makes five main propositions which are: 1) Outer space geography is intimately related to geographic position; 2) Outer space has always been a strategic environment; 3) Outer space has become an increasingly important domain of warfare; 4) Outer space is a key factor in the development of military strategy; and 5) Outer space is a critical component of modern warfare.
This volume identifies and evaluates the relationship between outer-space geography and geographic position (astrogeography), and the evolution of current and future military space strategy. In doing so, it explores five primary propositions.
