The novel "Anno Dracula" by Kim Newman tells the story of Count Dracula's attempt to return to Europe in the early 1900s and the battle between him and a group of people led by Charles Beauregard. The novel also includes a novella, "Vampire Romance," in which Genevieve Dieudonn infiltrates a vampire gathering in order to gain information for the Diogenes Club.
