The TP-Link RE580D AC1900 Wi-fi Range Extender is a device that extends the reach of a Wi-Fi network. It has specifications that are similar to those of other Wi-Fi range extenders, such as IEEE 802.11ac, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n, and 2.4 GHz/5.0 GHz frequency bands. It supports wireless data rates up to 1.9Gbps and has 64 or 128-bit WEP, WPA-PSK, and WPA2-PSK security. The RE580D has three external dual band antennas and is capable of receiving sensitivity of up to 5 GHz: 11a 6 Mbps: -92 dBm, 11a 54 Mbps: -74 dBm, and 11ac HT20 MCS8:-66 dBm; 11ac HT40 MCS9: -62 dBm; 11ac HT80 MCS9: -58.5 dBm.
