The Reizen Talking Atomic Alarm Clock is a radio-controlled clock that provides accurate atomic time. It has a female voice that announces the time and date, as well as other information such as the day of the week and alarm time. The clock also has a 5-minute snooze function and high and low announcement volume settings for those with hearing impairment. The clock is powered by two AA batteries, and it cannot communicate with the National Institute of Standards and Technology from either Hawaii or Alaska.

The unit works on receiving the time radio signal, which is generated by the US Atomic Clock that is located in Colorado.
