Description
Essentially Natural's Calendula infused oil is a gentle, cooling, and soothing oil that is excellent for use in salves and facial creams. It is also beneficial for use on sensitive skin, and can help with dry skin disorders. The oil is made in South Africa and blends well with other oils, such as bergamot, geranium, lemon, lime, orange, and rose. The oil is 100% pure and contains an extract of the flowers of Calendula officinalis L. (Fam. Asteraceae). Due to this oil being an infusion in grapeseed oil, it does not have a strong or distinctive scent.
Essentially Natural Calendula Infused Oil often takes a warm golden hue and is steeped from dried calendula petals, thus giving it its earthy aroma. It is one of the most effective healing oils available and it is produced locally right here in South Africa. Its gentle and soothing qualities, makes it a wonderful choice for sensitive and dry skin.
Why we love it: Calendula Infused Oil has anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties making it an excellent base (carrier oil) for salves, facial creams and lotions. Gentle and so versatile, it is without a doubt one of the best oils for both cosmetic and therapeutic applications.
