Description
This product is a Ubiquinol Co-Q10 capsule that is 50 mg and 60 capsules. It is sugar free and has been shown to be better absorbed than regular Co-Q10. It is also 8 times better absorbed than ordinary Co-Q10 and has better anti-aging effects than conventional Co-Q10. It is beneficial for cells, the cardiovascular system, and blood circulation.

This ultimate form of co-enzyme Q10 is unique to SOLAL. Coenzyme Q10 is present in all cells and is known to protect the heart and brain as well as slow down aging markers. Ubiquinol Co Q10 is the active form of coenzyme Q10. It’s 8 times better absorbed than ordinary Co-Q10 and maintains blood Co-Q10 levels 66% better than ordinary Co-Q10 for optimal heart, brain and anti-aging benefits.

Product Indications
Ubiquinol is a stabilised reduced form of co-enzyme Q10 (ubiquinone). Since 2002, scientists have discovered that higher doses and sustained blood levels of co-enzyme Q10 are needed to achieve anti-aging benefits and for optimal protection of the brain and heart. Ubiquinol addresses both these issues since it is 8 times better absorbed than regular co-enzyme Q10 and it results in a 66% increase in continuous blood co-enzyme Q10 levels. This improved form of co-enzyme Q10 not only absorbs better, but also has demonstrated better anti-aging effects compared to conventional co-enzyme Q10. In order for the conventional ubiquinone form of co-enzyme Q10 to be properly utilised, it first must be absorbed then reduced in the body to its active metabolite known as ubiquinol. This is a slow and inefficient process. The optimal way to supplement with co-enzyme Q10 is to ingest it in its ready-to-use ubiquinol form. After years of research, a stabilised ubiquinol has been developed so that it can be swallowed in a capsule for utilisation by cells throughout the body. The ramifications of widespread use of this novel form of co-enzyme Q10 are profound. For the first time, it is possible to achieve the sustained high blood levels of biologically active Ubiquinol Co-enzyme Q10 needed to delay certain manifestations of aging and its related disorders.

Product Composition
Each capsule contains the following as active ingredient:

Ubiquinol 50 mg
Sugar free.

Pharmacological Action
Ubiquinol is the reduction product of co-enzyme Q10 (ubiquinone) and is converted into co-enzyme Q10 after absorption into the body. Studies have shown that ubiquinol has superior absorption compared to co-enzyme Q10, that increases exponentially as the dose increases. This is probably due to the saturation limits attributed to the co-enzyme Q10, while this is not the case with ubiquinol leading to higher levels of absorption. This allows for higher concentration of co-enzyme Q10 in the body allowing for optimal levels to be reached. Those suffering from neurodegenerative disorders, cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus and Alzheimer’s display lowered levels of co-enzyme Q10 and would thus benefit from higher levels of co-enzyme Q10 to prevent cellular oxidative damage. Co-enzyme Q10 has been widely studied and has been used in Japan for many decades. Co-enzyme Q10 has been shown to have the following beneficial effects in the body. Cells: Co-enzyme Q10 is an important component of almost every cell of the body and has been found to reverse accelerated abnormal apoptosis of cells involved in the aging process. Co-enzyme Q10 increases the production of energy within the mitochondria of cells and increases oxygen supplies to the mitochondria – the mitochondria contain approximately 50% of the body’s total co-enzyme Q10 content. Co-enzyme Q10 helps to prevent free radical damage to the mitochondria and mitochondrial DNA (including the free radical damage induced by anti-cancer drug doxorubicin). Cardiovascular system: Co-enzyme Q10 stabilizes the heartbeat in arrhythmia patients. Co-enzyme Q10 prevents atherosclerosis in the arteries, by preventing the oxidation of LDL cholesterol. Although it has not received wide publicity, it appears that the co-enzyme Q10-LDL cholesterol ratio is even more important in the prevention of atherosclerosis than the HDL-LDL cholesterol ratio. Co-enzyme Q10 lowers total serum cholesterol levels. Co-enzyme Q10 improves blood circulation and improves the functionality and condition of the heart in the presence of blood clots and cardiomyopath
