The knife in question is the Ka-bar BK14 Eskabar. It is a full flat grind knife made of 1095 Cro-Van steel with a hardness of 56-58 HRC. It has a 7.62 cm blade length and a 17.78 cm overall length. The knife is stamped with the BK&T KA-BAR/ESEE (Randall Adventure) logo. The knife is made in the USA, but the sheath is made in Taiwan.
KA-BAR combined the best of two very popular designs, theBecker Neckerand theEsee Izula, then they let one of their customer's name it. What did they come up with? Eskabar. Includes hard plastic sheath.
