The Slik Pro 700 DX tripod is a heavy duty tripod that is suitable for use with medium format cameras and long telephoto lenses. It is constructed from Slik Super Alloy A.M.T., which offers an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio more than 40% greater than similar tripods. The tripod has lever leg locks, a gearless center column, rubber leg tips, and a pan head with 4 independent movements. The tripod also has a quick shoe that can be attached to a camera to pan it. The tripod has a dual axis bubble level, reversible head attachment screw, and a head with large or small screw holes.

PRO 700 DX

Light, full size tripod weighting 3.2kgs with panhead. Suitable for use with most telephoto and zoom lenses, medium format cameras, and some (portable 4X5) field cameras.

Functions of PRO 700 DX

Lever Lock, the easiest to use leg lock

Lift lever to unlock, push lever to lock. It lets you extend or shoten a leg without taking your eyes off your subject.

Grooved tubular legs

The groove, in the already dynamically strong cicular tubing, prevents the leg from spinning around, and allows simple and secure locking.

It also allows you to extend the leg from any section, regardsless of the order.

3-position leg angle adjustment

The leg angle locks allow you to set the tripod to 3 different height positions. Each lock is independent, so you can set up quickly and easily on steps, or uneven terrain.

Gearless Center Column

Just loosen locking collar, and pull up. Camera height, and direction can be adjusted in one motion.

Super low camera height of 40cm with use of optional short center column.

Minimum camera height is 62cm with standard center column. Optional short center column brings the height down to 40cm above ground.

Rubber leg tips

Specially designed rubber leg tips keep the tripod balanced, and stable, by always maintaining plane contacts with the ground.

Pan Head with 4 independent movements

Attach or remove camera with its built in quick shoe.

Quick shoe

Attach to a camera, just by rotating the Quick Shoe onto it.

Camera can be panning on the Quick Shoe just by lifting the Quick Shoe Locking Lever. (Optional Quick Shoe : U3/8")

Dual axis bubble level

The head has 2 bubble levels for easy leveling, recessed against damage.

Reversible head attachment screw

The reversible head attachment screw on the center elevation post lets you use head with either large or small screw holes.
