Description
The movie is a screen version of the popular Broadway musical of the same name. The story follows the life of Tevye, a Jewish fiddler in pre-Revolutionary Ukraine, as he tries to find a suitable husband for his three daughters. The Russian Czar and Cossacks begin a campaign of persecution against the Jews, and Tevye must find a way to protect his family.
