The top notes are nectarine, green notes and grapefruit, which flow into the middle notes of coriander, ginger, lavender, pepper, rose and geranium and the final base notes of the fragrance are sandalwood, benzoin and oak moss. Born and raised in New York City, Estee Lauder launched her cosmetics company in her home city in 1935. After gaining her own counter space in the legendary department store Saks Fifth Avenue, she developed a range of skin creams and fragrances that would prove to be a big hit, particularly with Lauders famous friends.
