Description
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is a JRPG game for the Nintendo Switch. It is the first game in the series to be released on a Nintendo console in 8 years. The game follows Adol, a shipwrecked sailor, as he and the other survivors of the shipwreck try to find a way to escape the island they are stranded on. Along the way, Adol begins to have dreams about a blue-haired maiden he has never met before. In order to find out more about her, he must explore the island and its many secrets. The game is voiced in both Japanese and English, with subtitles in French.

Adol awakens shipwrecked and stranded on a cursed island. There, he and
the other shipwrecked passengers he rescues form a village to challenge
fearsome beasts and mysterious ruins on the isolated island. Amidst
this, Adol begins to dream of a mysterious blue-haired maiden living in
an unknown world. Join Adol as he unravels the riddle of the cursed
isle and the blue-haired maiden Dana in Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA!
