Description
Aloe Vera Liquid-gel is a cosmetic ingredient made from the leaf of the aloe vera plant. It is a gentle moisturizer and can soothe sunburn, itching, and symptoms of problem skin such as redness and irritation. Aloe vera can be added to creams, lotions, shampoos and other DIY cosmetic products. Alternatives to aloe vera liquid-gel when it is out of stock include bulbinella extract, hydrosols and calendula infusion. Sizes available are 100ml, 500ml or 1kg.
Essentially Natural Aloe Vera Liquid-Gel is juice pressed from the leaf of the aloe vera plant. It is an exceptionally versatile cosmetic ingredient and is often used to replace some or all of the water component in skincare formulas. Aloe vera liquid gel is very gentle and, directly applied, can sooth sunburn, itching, and symptoms of problem skin such as redness and irritation. Aloe vera can also be added to creams, lotions, shampoos and other DIY cosmetic products.
Note that this is a liquid and does not have a gel-like consistency like fresh plant matter (which can't be properly preserved and therefore is not safe for use after a few days). It can be thickened into a viscous gel by incorporating other ingredients, including gelling agents.
