Dried knotgrass / knotweed herb is said to be good for treating mild respiratory catarrh, as an expectorant for coughs, colds and bronchitis, and for alleviating inflammation of the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat. It can also be used against gingivitis.

AS A TEA
1-2 teaspoons in 1 cup of boiling water. Infuse for 10-15 minutes. Strain. Drink 2-3 cups per day.
