Description
Castor oil is a type of oil that is often used in cosmetics because it is good for delicate facial skin. It is rich in linoleic, palmitic, stearic and oleic acids, which protect the skin and hair from conditions such as nappy rash. Castor oil is also a natural treatment for eczema and dermatitis. Its anti-inflammatory properties make it an ideal massage base for treating rheumatoid arthritis pain, inflammation and sore muscles. Castor oil can also be used to treat dandruff, split ends and eyebrows and eyelashes.
Refined Castor oil is often added to lipsticks, glosses and other face care products because of its suitability for delicate facial skin.
