Description
The product is a high-light kit that comes with a microgranular decolouring powder, tint brush, comb, and shampoo. The directions state that you will need a timer, towels, and tint brush, as well as a bleaching-toning powder and creme activator. The kit is for light blonde hair, and the directions recommend that you test the product on a strand every 15 minutes to ensure that you obtain the desired colour. The kit is to be applied with a tint brush, combed through, and left on for the time set out in point 5. After the time is up, you are to rinse thoroughly.

Kair Blonde High-light Kit is salon-approved and comes with microgranular. Decolouring powder is made up of perfectly sized granules that mix into a smooth, easy-to-apply paste. It remains moist on the hair during processing time to ensure even colour results. Specifications 1. Read the following directions carefully before you begin. 2. In addition to your Kair Highlight Refill Kit, you will need a timer, towels, tint brush, comb, hook and shampoo. 3. It is advisable to perform a skin allergy test and a strand test prior to application: Mix 1 teaspoon of Bleaching-Toning powder and 2 teaspoons of Creme Activator into a smooth paste. Apply a small amount to skin on the inner arm and behind an ear extending partially into the hairline. Cover with a cotton swab and leave for sixty minutes. If no irritation occurs, it should be safe to proceed. Also, apply to one strand of hair. Leave on for time set out in point 5. Rinse as explained in point 7. If you are satisfied with the results on the hair strand, proceed with normal application. 4. Application: A) Do not wash or wet hair prior to application. B) Brush hair thoroughly. C) Using a comb, position your hair according to the style you normally wear, before putting the high-light cap on - eg: if you normally style your hair with a fringe, comb that section of hair forward. D) Put a cap on, being careful not to disturb your style. Ensure that the cap is firmly in place and secure with drawstrings. E) With a crochet hook, draw strands of hair through the holes in the cap. Ensure that each strand is smooth and there are no knots or loops at the root area. We recommend pulling strands +/- the thickness of a regular match stick to ensure a professional result. Draw the strands through only where you wish to lighten. F) Comb the strands which are to be highlighted, to ensure smooth, even results. G) Pour all of the Creme Activator into the jar which holds the Bleaching-Toning Powder and blends into a smooth paste with the tint brush provided. NB. Do not close the jar and do not shake the mixture. Do not seal unused mixture. H) Immediately apply the mixture to your hair with a tint brush, ensuring that all the hair is evenly coated. If your hair is longer, pile it neatly on top of your head after application. I) For professional results, make sure that the temperature of the mixture remains constant. Remain indoors and out of drafts. This timing chart is a guideline only. The bleaching-toning process should be monitored regularly. 5. Timing: Use the following guide to determine how long the mixture should stay on your hair. Remember, the darker your hair, the longer you should leave the mixture on. Not suitable for light blonde hair. Present colour - suggested processing time. Dark brown medium brown - 50 minutes. Light brown - 45 minutes. Dark blonde - 40 minutes. Medium blonde - 35 minutes. 6. Testing for colour: The times recommended in point 5 can vary depending on the condition and texture of your hair, so it is advisable to take a test strand every 15 minutes, to ensure that you obtain the colour you want: Wipe all products off one strand only, with a piece of cotton wool. Should the strand not be your desired colour, work it back into the mixture on your head. Wait a further fifteen minutes and check again (do not check the same strand). 7. Rinsing: A) Once your desired colour is obtained, rinse thoroughly with warm water before removing the cap. Ensure that all product is removed from your hair. B) Remove cap. (It's easier to remove if you apply a small amount of shampoo to your hair first, enabling the cap to slide off smoothly. ) C) Wet hair and shampoo thoroughly once. Rinse well. D) Apply Kair Conditioner and leave on for one-two minutes. E) Rinse thoroughly and style as desired. Enjoy your lively new colour!
