Carefully, place the nozzle just inside the nostril, do not go too deep. But, you have to place it inside the nostril, not just at the beginning. Release the bulb slowly the pressure will pull the mucus out. Remove the nozzle out from the nostril, pinch it to remove mucus on a tissue. Rinse the bulb with warm clean water, using the same pinch/release method. Dry it on a paper towel.
