Description
Spikenard essential oil is a type of essential oil that is used to help with a variety of issues such as allergies, anxiety, migraines, stress, and insomnia. It is also said to be antibacterial and fungicidal.

Spikenard essential oil is perhaps best known as the oil used by Mary to anoint the feet of Jesus before the Last Supper. Spikenard is very similar to Valerian (it can be used as a substitute) and its sweet woody aroma makes it a nice oil to add to soaps and bath oils, or crystals.
