The Snaptrim Recessed Downlight Canless Module is a 6" LED downlight that eliminates the need for a recessed can. It features an external remote junction box and an IC Rating. The downlight has a 1.5" baffle reflector that reduces glare and hot spots. The SnapTrim is a cost-effective and easy-to-install solution for both retrofit and new construction projects. All that is required is cutting a hole in the ceiling, powering the J-Box to the wall switch, and snapping the trim flush.
And just like that... the recessed can is gone. This 6" LED Downlight, available in a straight or adjustable version, eliminates the need for a can. The external remote junction box mounts inside the ceiling and the fixture is IC Rated. Our 6" downlight features a deep architectural 1.5" baffle reflector that reduces glare and eliminates hot spots. By reducing material cost and installation time, the SnapTrim is the ideal retrofit or new construction recessed lighting solution yet.
