Description
The 4Artist Marker pen is a multi-technique oil-based paint marker that offers a glossy, highly pigmented finish with excellent lightfastness throughout. There are 4 different thicknesses of nib (from 2mm up to 15mm) which allows for versatility when creating artwork with them. They are ideal for applying on smooth and non-porous surfaces and are quick drying (5 to 15 minutes depending on the surface and thickness of application). Similar to oil paint, the colours can be diluted and reworked with odourless mineral spirit to obtain differing shades, gradients and tones on most surfaces. They can be applied to most surfaces including canvas, paper, plastic, wood and metal. Ideal for drawing, outlining, filling in large areas, glazing and mixed media. For special effects, simply saturate the tip with color to create splashing and dripping effects. Uniform in application, there is no color variation from wet-to-dry. They have a black aluminium body and a coloured cap, making them easily identifiable.
