The mini USB cover is meant to be used to cover the connector pins on the zumo, while the weather cap is meant to cover the connector pins on the bike.
When you remove your z?mo from your bike, slip this rubber weather cap on to cover the connector pins. The cap is connected using 2 screws with washers. The kit also includes a rubber mini USB cover that is is connected with 1 screw/washer.
