The filter is warranted against defects in service life for the specified interval by the vehicle manufacturer. The warranty does not cover incorrect fitment or failure due to abuse, neglect, or normal wear and tear. If the filter is installed by a qualified technician according to the manufacturer's instructions, the warranty is also conditional on safety being maintained.
