Description
This wine is a Cabernet Sauvignon, which is a full-bodied red wine. It has been aged for 12 months, and is complemented by ripe dark berries with hints of eucalyptus, mint and classic aromas of pencil lead, finishing with soft tannins and a great mid-palate gravity and length. On the nose, the wine has sweet spices, mint and berries with a gentle oak undertow. On the palate, the wine has cinnamon, blackcurrant and blood plum. Sweet-savoury with a balance of acidity and soft tannins. The wine would be good with beef in red wine with mushrooms, slow-roasted lamb rib or hard cheeses such as cheddar.
