The skillet can be used with any utensils, and is best heated and cooled gradually. The skillet has superior heat retention, so use a lower heat setting. The skillet should be washed by hand with a nylon bristle scrub brush and if needed, a pan scraper. The skillet should be dried promptly and thoroughly with a lint-free cloth or paper towel. The skillet can be rubbed with a very light layer of cooking oil or our Seasoning Spray, preferably while the cookware is still warm. The skillet should be stored in a dry place. Rust happens, and it is easy to fix. Just follow these directions.
