Description
The Pony Jorgensen Parallel Jaw Bar Clamp is a 48-inch clamp with parallel jaws that distribute clamping pressure evenly over large areas. The jaws stay parallel to prevent work pieces from bowing or lifting. The clamp has a built-in clamp stand that allows the clamps to stand upright for one-handed use and easier sliding head adjustment. The sliding head can be reversed on the bar and the clamp then acts as a spreader. The opening capacity is 48 inches and the clamping faces are 3-3/4' height and 1-7/8' width. The clamp has a high-carbon steel bar that is 1-3/16' X 3/8'. The screw is 5/8 cold-drawn steel with special, smoothly cut ACME threads.
