Description
The St Jude Thaddeus Medal is a silver oxidized finish medal with an image of Saint Jude on one side and the words "Pray For Us" on the other. It is made in Italy and is approximately 2.5cm or 7/8" tall. The medal may differ slightly. Saint Jude the Apostle was born in 1st century AD Roman Province of Galilee and died in 1st century AD Roman Province of Syria. He is honored in Roman Catholic Church, Eastern Catholic Churches, Eastern Orthodox Churches, Oriental Orthodox Churches, Church of the East, Anglican Communion, Lutheranism, Aglipayan Church Islam, and the Philippines. He is canonized pre-congregation. Saint Peter's, Rome, Reims, Toulouse, France are some of the major shrine. The feast is October 28 (Western Christianity) June 19 (Eastern Christianity). Saint Jude is honored with attributes of an axe, club, boat, oar, and medallion.
