Description
The St Rita Medal is a small, nickel-plated medal with the image of St Rita of Cascia on one side and the inscription "St Rita Medal" on the other. The patron saint of lost causes, sickness, wounds, marital problems, abuse, and mothers, St Rita is also the patron saint of mothers who are widows. She is also venerated as a major shrine in the Aglipayan Church. St Rita was canonized in 1900 by Pope Leo XIII and her feast day is May 22.
