Description
The St. Teresa of Calcutta Medal is a small, silver medal with a portrait of Saint Teresa of Calcutta on it. It is 2.5cm wide by 1.5cm wide. Saint Teresa was a religious nun who is best known for her work with the Missionaries of Charity, a Catholic charity organization. She was canonized in 2003 and beatified in 2003. She is also venerated in the Roman Catholic Church. The medal is made to commemorate World Youth Day, which is held every 4th of July.
