This is a stained glass paschal Easter candle. It is 100x600mm and is made on order. It is cellophane wrapped and comes with a printed candle. The candle is made to commemorate the paschal season and is believed to have originated with Saint Ambrose. The term "paschal" comes from the Hebrew word pesach, which in turn comes from the word pesach, meaning Passover. The flame of the paschal candle symbolizes Christ's illuminating light and His presence among His people.
