Description
This wine is a Sauvignon Blanc from Point Noordhoek. It has a fruity nose with hints of citrus and herbs. The wine is light and refreshing with a tart acidity. The wine will taste good now, but it will develop more complex flavors in the future. This wine is best enjoyed with fresh seafood, oysters, sushi, and summer dishes.
A delightful reminder of freshly picked apricots, ripe pears, golden delicious apples and granadilla sorbet on the nose. The aroma continues to unveil limes and orange blossom with a hint of fynbos and dried herbs. These aromas follow through on the palate with a refreshingly bright acidity and a long lingering fruity finish.
This wine will drink beautifully now, but the generosity of fruit will last for months to come after which it will continue to develop more tertiary aromas such as dried fruits over the next 2-5 years.
Best enjoyed with fresh line fish, oysters, sushi, crayfish and summer dishes in general.
