Description
This is a product description for the Makita BL1860B 6.0Ah lithium ion battery. This battery is compatible with all 18V Li-ion tools and chargers. The battery has a fuel gauge indicator, displays charge remaining on battery in four stages, has a built in memory chip communicates the usage history with the charger, has built in shock absorbers protect the cells from jobsite conditions, has a large release button for easy removal from the tool, has built in air vents and wall cools the battery cells evenly whilst blocking damaging debris, and has 16 contact terminals provide consistent power and firm hold in any environment. The battery is 40% lighter and 430% lifetime work volume compared to NiCd battery.
