The Pink Gin is a gin made with prickly pear and vanilla. It is meant for those who are less adventurous, and is one of the bush delicacies for the Indlovu. The prickly pear contains polyphenols, minerals and vitamins, and in traditional medicine, the pulp of the prickly pear fruit has been used to treat inflammation and even hangovers. The gin is bottled at 750ml.
After the success of the Indlovu Original there was inspiration to expand the range with an expression for the less adventurous Gin lover.
One of the bush delicacys for the Indlovu is the prickly pear cactus, especially the delicious, delicately flavoured fruit. Removing the prickles is no problem for these intelligent beasts who use their feet to rub away the thorns we dont advise trying this at home!
