Description
Nero is a wine made from the Sicilian red grape Nero d Avola. It is the only wine made from this grape in South Africa, and it is perhaps the most unique of the Mediterranean varietals to be grown locally. The wine is typically produced in 750ml bottles.
The only South African produced Nero D'Avola in the world. A fruit-driven, elegant wine with subtle, supportive oak. Flavours and aromas of dark-skinned berries and plums are enlivened by delicate perfume and grounded by juicy, sweet tannins.
