Description
This wine is a Carlou Pinot Noir. It is complex and layered with delicate fruit flavors that provide a delightful scope of cranberry, pomegranate and raspberry. The wine has light floral notes and a touch of oak, enhancing the undemanding palate with a pleasant earthy almond character. The wine has natural bright acidity and silky tannins that round off an elegant and rather special wine.
Low cropping vineyard blocks yield small bunches, which enable the farm to produce an expressive elegant style of Pinot Noir.
Delicate raspberry and fresh red cherry flavours are complemented by a touch of oak, rounding off the medium bodied mouthfeel. With a pleasant almond character and bright natural acidity the fine tannins support a lingering aftertaste.
