Description
The wine is from the Glenelly vineyard and is a Cabernet Sauvignon. It has all the characteristics of a Simonsberg wine, with black and red fruit and a very pure flavor. It also has blackcurrant pastille fruit, tangy acidity, and the fine tannins that are the hallmark of the glass collection wines. The wine has potential to age for up to 8 years. It pairs well with steak and game, particularly venison. The wine is 750ml in size and is from the Glenelly vineyard.
This youthful classic Stellenbosch cabernet sauvignon displays all the characteristics of the Simonsberg. Black and red fruit and very pure, with blackcurrant pastille fruit, tangy acidity and the fine tannins that are the hallmark of the glass collection wines.
Ageing potential: 4-8 years from vintage.
Pairs well with steak and game, particularly venison.
