Description
The wine is a reserve red and has a distinctive perfume on the nose backed by the aroma of caramelized plums. The palate offers an abundance of pure red fruit: cherries, cranberries and plums with a peppery and savoury finish. The wine has great depth of flavour and complexity, finishing long and begging another sip! The wine is a blend of 65% Shiraz, 20% Cinsault, 10% Grenache, and 5% Mourv*dre. The bottle size is 750ml.
This reserve blend of specially selected Shiraz with Cabernet and 3 other red varieties, has had long skin contact and aging in older foudre that gives it the unique savoury notes Reminiscent of cured meats, woodsmoke, cocoa, aided by dark-toned fruit. The tannins enhance the ageing as the wine finishes dry to a beautiful food friendly finish.
