Description
The wine is a blend of Shiraz, Cinsault, Grenache, and Mourv*dre. The wine has a fruity nose with caramelized plums and a peppery and savoury finish. The wine is fresh with great depth of flavor and complexity. The wine pairs well with venison carpaccio or a spicy curry. The wine is also good with red wine lamb shank stew and oven-roasted vegetables.
This reserve blend of specially selected Shiraz with Cabernet and 3 other red varieties, has had long skin contact and aging in older foudre that gives it the unique savoury notes Reminiscent of cured meats, woodsmoke, cocoa, aided by dark-toned fruit. The tannins enhance the ageing as the wine finishes dry to a beautiful food friendly finish.
