This wine is described as flirtatious, with hints of alluring red fruit, caramel, dark chocolate, and toffee. It is supported by touches of French oak and mint. The wine is said to be magic with roast leg of lamb. A second bottle of wine is recommended to enjoy Chocolate Fondant.
Unexpectedly full-bodied and round, without any of the green bitterness that so often creeps into South African Merlots. Red berry flavours gradually evolve into dark, rich plum with hints of musk making a subtle appearance. Demands seared Wagyu steak with a red wine reduction and fondant potato.
